Optimum Dental Care was established in November, 2000 at 1 E. Fordham Road in the Bronx. The idea was to provide “state of the art dentistry” by highly trained general dentists and specialists under one roof.

In June, 2004 a brand new facility was opened at 3370 Baychester Avenue, also in the Bronx. This facility was equipped with the most modern dental equipment and technology that are presently available.

Digital radiography which provides up to 90% less radiation than traditional radiographs, allows the clinician to magnify and adjust settings on the computer to better diagnose and treat dental problems. The office is fully computerize allowing faster correspondence between the office and insurance carriers which aids in quicker approvals and more efficient billing.

In addition to routine dental care, advanced services include Dental Implants, IV sedation, one hour laser teeth whitening , periodontal and orthodontic treatment.

The founders Dr. Dwight Williams and Dr. Kyle White were classmates at Jamaica College in Kingston, Jamaica. They both later attended Columbia University for Dental School. Dr. Williams went on to specialize in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, while Dr. White concentrated on being a Cosmetic and General Dentist.

Dr. Dwight Williams is a Board Certified Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon, and is currently on staff at Harlem Hospital Center, where he is the Assistant Program Director for the Residency Training Program in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and is an Assistant Clinical Professor at Columbia University School of Dental Medicine.

Optimum Dental Care, LLC  is a multi-specialty group practice, having on staff Board eligible and Board certified specialists in the different areas of dentistry.
